Step 6 - Sit in rush hour traffic for another 45 min to an hour with a huge stress ball down my back on the way home from the job that I despise and sitting in the traffic that I despise
Step 7 - Rack my brain all day and night, to figure out a business that I could start that would eventually get me out of my 9 to 5 job
Step 8 - Decide on a business and start it on the side while working my 9 to 5
Step 9 - Eventually fail at the business because I was "sold" big dreams that turned out to be unrealistic, so I'd have to keep the 9 to 5 job anyway
Step 8 - Start over
The Days Of Doom not only sucked, but kept me stuck from 1996 to 2009 - forcing me to keep working at jobs that I hated, with hours and income that someone else decided for me, while working my a$$ off and quite honestly, being filled with anger and dis-satisfaction.

As We Get To Know Each Other… You’ll Quickly Realize That I’m The Luckiest Person On Earth - So Let’s Talk About Where I Was IN 1996!
I was 23 and living in MY MOMS BASEMENT IN PHILLY
I had no REAL IDEA OF WHAT I WANTED TO DO WITH MY LIFE
I had no CUSHY SAVINGS
I had no PLANS FOR RETIREMENT OR TIME AND FINANCIAL FREEDOM
...but I KNEW I DIDN'T WANT TO DREAD MONDAYS AND ONLY LOOK FORWARD TO THE WEEKENDS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE
This meant I couldn’t KEEP DOING WHAT I WAS DOING AT A JOB AND I NEEDED TO START A BUSINESS
There’s a stupid myth out there..that says IT TAKES MONEY TO MAKE MONEY
…Well sometimes it doesn’t..
What I mean by that is, it doesn't have to necessarily be YOUR MONEY...
I know, because I tried to figure out how to come up with my own money for businesses.
I even tried to do businesses, like real estate, with no money down (btw, it's harder than they make it seem)
I gave it my BEST shot. Well...shots, I should say.
And most of my shots didn't work out.
I did have mild success with real estate investing, but nothing that really allowed me the true time and financial freedom that I so desperately craved!
Because I played by the rules and I did everything right...
I ended up STILL WORKING A FULL-TIME JOB And Hustling Every Other Minute Of The Day and night TRYING TO DO REAL ESTATE DEALS oN THE SIDE...
And I Hated It…
I hated it because...
I had goals, dreams and aspirations...I wanted more out of life...
...and LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK WITH DEBT UP TO MY EYEBALLS wasn't going to work.
So I did what everyone else out there does in this situation.
I started looking for a way out. I knew I tried tons of things before, but I just KNEW there was something else out there for me.
I looked everywhere, yet again, and a a few months later I found it.
I went to a real estate seminar for property management. It was filled with a bunch of real estate investors plus the instructor, who himself, was a real estate instructor.
You see we wanted to at least try to make the real estate investing side of stuff as passive as we could. (Remember what T. Harv Eker said? "You become financially free when your passive income exceeds your expenses!")
Here's where my life changed.
The seminar ended and the instructor stood in the front of the room, very sure of himself and said "If any of you would like to learn about another passive income stream, then stay after."
My girlfriend and I looked at each other and decided that we'd check it out.
That's when we learned without a shadow of a doubt that you could own ATMs.
Yes, I'm talking about AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES. (or Mac machines if you're older and wiser, like me 😊)
People can own them.
In fact, most folks think only banks can own them, but the truth is that 50 to 60% of ATMs are owned by people just like you and I.
So, you can become an ATM BUSINESS OWNER and make money while you sleep, go on vacation, hang out with the wife and kids and you can even make money from your ATMs while you're at your 9 to 5 job earning your normal pay check!
Here's what I absolutely loved the most about ATMs and I learned this moreso after being in the ATM business for years, but ATMS ARE LIKE MINI-RENTAL PROPERTIES BUT WITHOUT THE TENANTS, TOILETS AND TRASH!!!
And if you've ever been a landlord like I've been, well you know that sounds just divine!
This was a cool concept to me, and as I researched more and more I found that most of the people that owned ATMs, were just like me.
They also WERE WORKING TOWARDS OR ALREADY MADE THEIR WAY OUT of working for someone else
The only difference was THEY LEARNED OF THE ATM BUSINESS AND STARTED ONE before I knew about them

ALL OF THE ABOVE IS WHY THE ATM BUSINESS was the perfect thing for me...
And the best part that attracted me to doing it this way?

Which means you can JUST HAVE SIMPLE CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE TO SHARE HOW YOU CAN HELP THEM...
All you have to do to start is REACH OUT TO THE BUSINESSES THAT YOU ALREADY FREQUENT! YEP, I'M TALKING ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE CHINESE FOOD RESTAURANT, YOU'RE FAVORITE BARBER, ETC. ETC.
And that was the birth of
my ATM BUSINESS JOURNEY
After doing a bit of research - I started TO JUST TALK TO BUSINESS OWNERS WHERE I ALREADY WENT TO (like my favorite Chinese restaurant, bakery, etc.)
I had no idea how to REALLY TALK TO THEM. I MEAN THE GUY WHO TOLD US ABOUT THE BUSINESS GAVE US SOME TALKING POINTS, BUT STILL, I DIDN'T FEEL TOTALLY LEGIT AND COMFORTABLE WITH WHAT I WAS SAYING...YET.
All I knew how to do was START SIDE BUSINESSES THAT FAILED AND I NEVER TALKED TO ACTUAL BUSINESS OWNERS, I WAS ALWAYS TALKING TO THE CONSUMER!
Here's what my FAILURES LOOKED LIKE BEFORE:
And even though I had THE ENTREPRENEURIAL HEART TO TRY AGAIN...
I still had to PUT IN THE HARD WORK IN THE BEGINNING, EVEN THO I HAD NO IDEA IF IT WAS GONNA WORK OR BE ANOTHER FAILURE, YET AGAIN
Looking back, those first 3 YEARS" were brutal.
Late nights.
Early mornings.
Working weekends.
Hard work.
Stress.
Tears.
